I actually thought I was going to die and some terrible monster was coming to kill me. I soon replaced the bookshelf but now it’s too full. Time for the return of the bookstack-table. Via Just So.

My shelves fall down on a regular basis. And I recently had to get a new one because the ‘leaning tower of bookshelf’ was getting dangerous.
